Software Developer– River Forest, IL
Seeking talented programmers familiar with Python and R to support our leading edge works in analytic frameworks for big data. Ideally, candidates should possess:
- Knowledge of statistical programming languages such as R
- Work with Python or other interpreted languages
- Work with very large, distributed and heterogeneous data sets
- Familiarity with Hadoop, map/reduce and distributed databases
- Interest in coding numerical and/or machine learning algorithms and complex applications
Additional characteristics valued:
- Ability to deconstruct problems and devise elegant solutions and approaches
- Ability to work independently when necessary, and part of a project team at other times.
- US citizenship (required)
